Thumbcoast Candle is a mother-daughter small business located in St. Clair, Michigan. We take pride in handcrafting each candle with care and attention to detail. Our mission is to provide our customers with high-quality candles made from non-toxic, pet-friendly, and Phthalates-free ingredients. We source our materials from other small businesses within the United States, supporting local craftsmanship and ensuring the best for our customers.                 -Thumbcoast Candle Origin Story-

       It all started with a simple afternoon of organizing.  I was a nursing student, fresh out of high school, when I noticed something unsettling; a fine layer of black soot coating my bedroom walls.  I've always loved the way a candle can change the entire mood of a room, bringing in the scent of a new season and cozy ambiance, but as I scrubbed those walls, the nursing student in me couldn't ignore the truth.  I realized the candles I loved were filled with chemicals- Toxins that's weren't just staining my walls, but were unsafe for my pets.  I knew there had to be a better way to enjoy that glow without the compromise.   I sat down with my mom and proposed a dream; a company dedicated to clean, Pet-friendly candles.  That conversation was the spark that created Thumbcoast Candle.

Rooted in love for our small town,  We decided to build something that gives back.  We prioritize sustainability by sourcing our midwest farmed soy wax and US made Pet friendly fragrances.  We hand pour into recycled containers or our own custom made concrete vessels.  For us, it's about more than just a scent; it's about creating a healthier, cleaner home for our community,                 --One candle at a time. --
